Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: March 17, 2026
This policy explains when cancellations and refunds may be available.
1. Introduction
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how God Tier Grading Ltd (“GTG”, “we”, “us”, “our”) manages order cancellations and refunds relating to our grading services.
This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and applies to all orders placed through the GTG website or submission system.
2. Service Nature
GTG provides professional grading and related evaluation services for collectible cards.
Grading outcomes represent the professional opinion of GTG at the time of grading, based on our grading standards and methodology.
Because grading is a professional assessment service, results may vary between grading companies and may not match customer expectations.
3. Processing Commencement
Processing of a submission begins once items are received and checked into the GTG facility.
Initial processing may include:
intake logging
unpacking and inspection
submission verification
triage and preparation for grading
These steps form part of the grading workflow.
Once a submission has been received and checked in, it is considered in processing.
4. Order Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation of a submission before processing has begun.
Processing is deemed to begin once items are received and checked into the GTG facility, as described in Section 3 (Processing Commencement).
If cancellation is approved before processing begins, a refund may be issued less any administrative or payment processing costs incurred.
Once processing has begun, orders cannot be cancelled.
If a customer requests the return of items after processing has begun, administrative handling costs and return shipping charges may apply before items are dispatched.
5. Refunds
Refunds may be issued in limited circumstances, including:
where a submission is cancelled prior to processing
where GTG is unable to provide the requested service
where required by applicable consumer protection law
Refunds will not be issued based solely on dissatisfaction with a grading result.
6. Refused or Unserviceable Submissions
GTG reserves the right to refuse or return submissions where:
items are not suitable for grading
authenticity cannot be reasonably determined
items are damaged beyond grading standards
submission requirements are not met
In such cases, GTG may:
return the items ungraded
issue a partial or full refund at its discretion
Return shipping costs may still apply.
7. Duplicate or Incorrect Orders
If an order is placed incorrectly or duplicated, customers should notify GTG as soon as possible.
Corrections may be possible before processing begins but cannot be guaranteed once processing has started.
8. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued for:
dissatisfaction with a grading outcome
changes in card market value
delays outside GTG’s reasonable control
incorrect estimated card values
customer errors in submission details
9. Chargebacks
Customers must contact GTG to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback through their payment provider.
Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with GTG may result in:
suspension of customer accounts
refusal of future submissions
recovery of costs incurred by GTG
10. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws.
11. Policy Updates
GTG may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect operational or legal changes.
The latest version will always be published on our website.
